C&T SAUSAGES

All of our sausages are handmade in our shop. All flavours have been carefully selected, mostly traditional which people of all ages will love and enjoy.  

THE OLD FAMILY RECIPE

Our secret sausage is one of our most popular. It wouldn't be a secret if we told you just how we made them. What we can tell you is they are a pepper & sage flavour but you need to try them for yourself.

Our breakfast sausage is made from our Old Family Recipe ingredients and makes a great breakfast bun.  

PIG IN A BLANKET

C&T's pig in a blanket is a traditional Christmas must. Made with a classic plain sausage wrapped by a happy unsmoked piggy. 

TRADITIONAL SAUSAGE

Our traditional sausages are a recipe passed down from the previous owner of the shop which all of our previous customers know and love. We also make a gluten free alternative in the flavour.

GLUTEN FREE SAUSAGES

Gluten Free sausages are available, we do often keep them in stock but to avoid disappointment please do just check with us and we can make to order. 

C&T CHICKEN

Here at Cleaver & Twine, all of our whole chickens, breasts, wings and thighs are all locally sourced and have been carefully selected by Rob and Alice. We are firm believers that our animals have led good, healthy, outdoor and low-stress lives. This ensures our meat will be more wholesome and flavoursome for our customers.

Whole Chicken

Our whole chickens really do make for the perfect mid-week or Sunday roast. 

Chicken Leg

Made up of a drumstick and a thigh. We use these to make our chicken parcels.

Spatchcock Chicken

Another name for this could be butterfly chicken. The chicken is split down the back and lays down flat which is perfect for BBQ cooking.

Diced Chicken

We are more than happy to slice/dice our chicken breasts up for you. The uses are endless, from fajitas to chicken casserole.

Chicken Breast

Juicy and tender chicken breasts with multiple uses. Very easy to season and cook.

Chicken Thigh

Perfect for cooking slow or in the air fryer for extra crispy skin on thighs.

Chicken Wings

Tender meat and very flavoursome when coated in a marinade and slow cooked.

C&T BEEF

Our beef is matured and hung on the bone for at least 21 days, which allows the fibres of the meat to break down. This natural process makes our beef incredibly tender and it is how our meat gets its “old fashioned” superb flavour. 

Sirloin Steak

Perfect as a succulent steak or as a premium roasting joint. Best served medium rare.

Rump Steak

Full of flavour, perfect for frying.

Beef Burgers

All our burgers are hand made in our lovely shop only from the highest quality beef and seasonings

Mince

We strive for the highest quality mince within our neighbouring towns. No additives just pure ground beef.

Topside 

Our favourite here at Cleaver & Twine. Aged topside, trimmed and perfectly prepared ready for that perfect roast.

Braising Steak

Tender and very tasty. Perfect for making beef casserole or stripped up for beef stir fry.

Rib-Eye Steak

Well marbled aged rib eye which will make your mouth water.

C&T LAMB

Our lamb  is milk-fed  and consistently a popular choice with our customers. The lambs only feed on their mother's milk, which gives the meat a softness and style that is hard to find anywhere else.

Chops 

Minted or plain, double or single. These make a perfect dinner.

Leg

Very lean, good as a roasting joint or as leg steaks.

Guard of Honour 

For that special occasion, prime loin of lamb French trimmed. 

Lamb Mince

Full of Flavour and perfect fuel for that Sheppard's pie.

Breast

We can either make these into stuffed roasting joints or mini lamb ribs.

Shoulder 

The ultimate slow roasting joint. once cooked just watch the meat flake away from the bone. 

Neck

Either sold on the bone or as boneless neck fillets. These are ideal for making slow cooked lamb stews.
